Regatta Weekend 2019

This year's club regatta will take place over the weekend of 20th & 21st July 2019.

In order for the weekend to be a success, we need club members to volunteer for a range of roles including Race Officers to oversee the races, umpires, people to help launch and retrieve visiting gigs, river marshals, parking marshals and start boat crew. We hope that enough members will volunteer so that no one has too much to do over the whole weekend.

If you’re able to volunteer, please contact Will as soon as possible at regatta@ngrc.co.uk — especially if you are willing to take on one of the Race Officer roles.

Saturday 20th July

There will be a series of sea races for Cornish gigs on the afternoon of Saturday 20th July, between 13:00-19:00. These will be for men’s and women’s crews. In the evening we will have food, drink and entertainment.

Sunday 21st July

On Sunday 21st July we will have two events for Cornish gigs and skiffs. In the morning we will have a sprint knock-out competition for mixed crews (three men and three women). In the afternoon will be staging a Head of the Ouse River race.
