Hamble River Raid
Hello Giggers how would you like to be a part of the Hamble River Raid? It is one race that is not too far away to travel and should be great fun and a good day out for all friends and family too, after all we need a support crew and some cheers from the bank.
The event is open to any human powered craft which can navigate the course and sign the declaration of seaworthiness. I have looked into this and it looks like there are all manner of boats but interestingly there only seems to be one other Cornish Gig called Mercury so we would be in the minority but we would be a force to be reckoned with. Some of the boats include:
MEGA GIGS (Larger craft, Jolly Boats, Long Boats, Cornish Pilot Gigs & Solent Galleys etc).
