We have been invited to a demonstration race against Lewes at the Littlehampton festival. This is an all day event from 11 at Littlehampton with an adventure for right up to past Arundel Castle and back. This is a 12k row so not for beginners or tea stirrers as a warm day is forecast. 8 crew with 2 bow seat for rotation as per Great river race. Costs £12 but will head up to Arundel at 12.30 and back on one of the fastest flowing tidal rivers in the U.K. near 5 pm so a long day. Parking limited so train down is probably easier if not car sharing.
